For more than 25 years IKAROS has supplied products and services for the use of gases and mixtures in Food applications.

We are an ISO 9001 certified company by DNV GL and approved as a Cylinder Re-testing Center by Bureau Veritas.
The solutions we offer for the food & beverage sector range from the sale of high-pressure cylinders and valves to the provision of the needed services for the storage of gases and the maintenance of cylinders.

Our products fully comply with MOCA Food Safe Certification (the regulation for materials and objects that come into contact with food) and we implement the HACCP protocol for the packaging of gases for food application with traceability of production batches for maximum safety.

Cylinders for food-grade gases

IKAROS high-pressure gas cylinders are T-PED certified according to the law, their manufacturing process is based in Europe and they are made by light chrome – molybdenum steel without welding:

The cylinders are available in different diameters and heights so they can be adapted to small spaces such as those found under the bar counter.

The common gas cylinders sizes are always available in stock at our warehouse.

The food-grade gas cylinders can be delivered empty or filled with gas, assembled and complete with valves and protective cap: ready to be used without further waste of time!

* It is possible to register the cylinders with barcode in order to be able to manage them immediately through Logistics Dept.

Gas cylinder bundles for food-grade gases

For applications that require larger quantities and volumes, we can supply cylinder bundles suitable for food gases.

The gas cylinder bundles we offer have been designed with full attention to every detail and elaborated with cutting-edge materials, ensuring high productivity during its use.

Its seamless stainless steel manifold is designed to prevent gas leakage.

The frame is completely galvanized and capacities available are adapted to different needs: 20 lt, 30 lt, 40 lt and 50 lt in bundles of 12, 16, 18 cylinders or more on request.

Gas valves for Food&Beverage applications

We provide MOCA certified valves that fully comply with the regulations for materials intended to come into contact with food.

Usually the cylinders are supplied with Residual Pressure Valve (RPV): this feature is particularly appreciated in the food sector because it prevents the entry of foreign substances, thus ensuring the purity of the food gas that it contains.
